A man joins a game show in which contestants, allowed to flee anywhere in the world, are pursued by “hunters” hired to kill them.

Glen Powell stars in a remake of the 1987 film of the same name based on the Stephen King novel. It is a classic sci-fi premise that feels less and less fiction every decade. It was a different world in 1987 but now with social media and CCTV capturing everything – plus the worlds thirst for carnage – this film hits right in the face.

This one starts slow and awkward with some underwhelming acting. But it soon hits the ground running. Once the game starts we get that groovy Edgar Wright vibe that settles in for an intense, anger fueled story.
