It is an annual tradition for me and three of my favorite fellow critics to get together and go over the Oscar nominations. As I mentioned on my radio show, I appreciate that we can have different thoughts and passions, but still walk away with respect for one another. In our culture these days it seems to be the opposite. People would rather just cancel each other than to respect a varied thought.
