Shrek is one of those characters that you just love. As I get older I realize how much we have in common. Many times I just want to sit at home quietly and enjoy my surroundings. If anything disturbs that I get a tad ogreish myself; stomping and yelling. It is no wonder that critics loved Shrek and the movie franchise. It took the classic fairy tale and turned it on its horn shaped ear. Donkey, Fiona, Pinicchio, the blind mice, and of course Puss in Boots… all of these characters just add to the fun.
Hard to believe it has been 20 years but one thing is for sure, Shrek remains timeless.
