M3GAN is now available

M3GAN is now available to OWN (THE THEATRICAL VERSION AND THE UNRATED VERSION) ON DIGITAL, BLU-RAY, AND DVD

One of the coolest, and at times humorous, horror films to come out in a long time. Gadgets gone awry is the new danger, and when it is a kids toy it just ups the creepiness. Smart writing elevate this above the normal jump scare fodder. M3GAN takes a lesson from Micheal Myers when it comes to subtle stalking. When it comes to killing she is in a league all her own.

The theatrical version is fantastic, but if you want a tad more adult language and blood splatter check out the unrated version. M3GAN is the 2nd scariest doll ever to hit theaters – sorry, Annabelle still holds the throne – so don’t let the sweet voice and rich white girl clothes fool you.

This is a most own for horror and niche film collectors. For more M3GAN stuff check out my interview with soundtrack composer Anthony Willis in our podcast section

M3GAN is a marvel of artificial intelligence, a life-like doll programmed to be a child’s greatest companion and a parent’s greatest ally. Designed by brilliant toy-company roboticist Gemma (Allison Williams), M3GAN can listen and watch and learn as she becomes friend and teacher, playmate and protector, for the child she is bonded to. As Gemma faces pressure at work from her boss (Ronny Chieng) to deliver a finished version of M3GAN, she suddenly becomes the unprepared caretaker of her newly orphaned 8-year-old niece, Cady (Violet McGraw). Gemma decides to pair the M3GAN prototype with Cady in an attempt to resolve both problems—a decision that will have unimaginable consequences.
