This quote from Jurassic World says it all about the latest film in the franchise, JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION. Seeing the Dinos on the big screen should be enough to thrill us all. Add to that the fact that so many of the iconic characters are back in this one just ups the excitement. There was so much to latch on to in this one for true fans of the franchise. Those casual viewers may find it a tad underwhelming. But even that seems odd given how much action we get throughout.
There were two moments that should cause true geek-out reactions. They can’t be mentioned here because what fun would that be? If you are a die hard fan of the original film you will love it. The simple fact of having Alan, Ian, and Ellie back together was very emotional. Some things could be said about the tasks they were given and the written dialogue. If you just have to be negative.
This film is loaded with dinosaurs; new and old. Again, we get visits from old toothy friends as well as some new toothier creations. If it is Dinosaurs you want this one has plenty. The action sequences too are big screen worthy. There are chase scenes in this one that are fun to watch. Classic Bond car chases have nothing on some Indoraptors and a motorcycle.
Summer films are all about fun, or should be. JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION was a lot of fun for the fans who are still wowed simply by the love of Dinosaurs and some familiar faces.
The Jurassic Park film series continues to evolve, and I am so very excited for this new edition. The fact that Dr. Sattler, Ian Malcolm, and Dr. Grant are back makes me extra giddy! I am as happy as a Pterodactyl with a strong tailwind!
