CSI: VEGAS S1 is now available to own from CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment on a 3-disc DVD set. My wife and I loved the original CSI series with Gil and the gang. That show was the launching pad for everything that came after; but to me still remains the best. It was great to see most of those characters back for this amazing CSI: VEGAS reboot.
The writers did not rely on just familiar faces to phone this one in. Season one was a complex case that kept audiences engaged. The premise of a crime lab breach that could undo all the cases before was a clever way to get the old viewers back in. Obviously we tuned in for the old cast, but we stayed for the journey.
