Cinderella is a musically driven bold new take on the classic fairytale. Our ambitious heroine (Camila Cabello) has big dreams and with the help of her Fab Godmother, she perseveres to make them come true. Cinderella has an all-star cast including Idina Menzel, Minnie Driver, James Corden, Nicholas Galitzine, Billy Porter and Pierce Brosnan.
This version has plenty of comedy, and a few new spins, but never loses the heart of the original. The Blu-ray has only a gag reel as extra content. The film originally released in September of 2021. It seems this was a long time to wait to release it on Blu-ray without any sort of goodies.
Along with a solid performance from Cabello, Billy Porter steals the show as the Fabulous Godmother. Idena Menzel is a welcome site in anything even when the role is wicked.
