Overview
When Mike Lowery and Marcus Burnett get together, an inexplicable type of magic occurs. Although their work partnership has been celebrated over the years, it’s been a while since they caught up with one another. As it turns out, a lot has changed in the intervening time. With Mike steeped in a full-out midlife crisis, and Marcus working as a police inspector, their lives couldn’t be more different. Overview
Mel Paige and Mia Carter, two friends who have different principles, start a cosmetics business together. Eventually, it becomes a success. Yet, they’re $493,000 in debt and not certain that they can grow their business fast enough. When a successful businesswoman, Claire Luna, offers to invest $1.7 million in their business, they agree even though she acts strange and criticizes their friendship.
