What better way to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the 80’s cult classic, RAD, than to bring it to Fantastic Fest. And of course FF did it in style. 512 Wheelie crew showed up and showed off to get the crowd ready. Bill Allen (Cru) was there as well to intro the RAD! – 35TH ANNIVERSARY RESTORATION SCREENING.
RAD was released in 1986, and to watch it now brings back all the feels of that classic era. The music, clothes, attitude, and passion that permeated that decade oozes from every celluloid pore of this film. The best thing is that it isn’t a retro recreation. Watching a film shot in the 80s is very different from watching a modern film set in the 80s. No matter how much attention to detail there is you can’t recapture the magic. To hear my interview with RAD star Bill Allen head over to our podcast section.
