Synopsis: Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector, and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.

The Mungle on Movies Commentary: Coco makes a strong argument for best animated film of the year. As always Pixar gets to the heart of the story and this time focuses on the family dynamic like never before. Full of colorful characters, music, and humor this film will touch all generations with its charm and tradition. Set in both the real world and the Land of the Dead the animators create a powerful narrative. Miguel is perfectly voiced by Anthony Gonzalez and joined by Gael García Bernal and Benjamin Bratt. Original songs like Remember Me makes this a fabulous addition to the Disney catalog.
